I'm getting ready to do the stage 1 on my 07 FXDB and am trying to decide on Cycle Shack slip ons or Rush slip ons.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;Anyone recommend&nbsp\\;the cheapest place to buy one/both?&nbsp\\; Thanks.

Rush are great sounding and price.

 

Cycle Shacks are very loud.&nbsp\\; I had a set of slash cuts for about a day.&nbsp\\; My ears were ringing when riding.

 

Just got Screaming Eagles II, the oldies, sound great, check on craigslist.com, texas, killeen-temple, motorcycles, saw a pair for $50.

I just put a new set on my fat bob.&nbsp\\; I had a sportster before.&nbsp\\; I have a set of some cycle shack slip-ons that I ordered still in the plastic, never used, 100 dollars shipped if they will work for your ride.&nbsp\\; Just let me know.&nbsp\\; Im not sure if theyll fit on an 07 though, with the sensors.&nbsp\\; My sportster was an 06.

I am a moron, but I dont know what a slip-on actually does...I have always replaced the entire exhaust.

edit: I gather that the exhaust that is on my bike now is two piece-per-pipe design...the second piece must unbolt and come off...leaving the first one on...

 

Do you have a local indy. or dealer you like going to? If so, print out the prices you found online and&nbsp\\;see if they can match them or get close. It's worth it to me to pay a couple extra $ and support the local guys that will be there when you need them. Try having your bike towed to the online store you just ordered your exhaust from. My $0.02.
