It also gives some space to be able to clean the top of the motor and alows more air flow to go though.

damn boy what are you eatin!

well scratch my first fab after the paint cured I installed it and the top triple tree hits it, I guess this is why they only sell a 3" lift and not a two inch. I now made it the same way that Jimbo explained and raised it 2". I took pics and I am going to attempt at posting them If I dont succeed just email me and ill send them to ya.

Steve and thanx Jimbo

maybe "Naz_Man" in this forum can doctor up a photo to show what an extreme tank-lift would look like. He photoshopped a street bob into a raked out springer and put some 6 ft tall exhaust extensions using some graphics programs. Let's see a Street Bob with a low profile (Hugger) rear fender, high-pitched tank lift, Grumpy's customs pipes, and a springer front end with black rims and black spokes on a 21" wheel. And a Indian Larry question mark symbol on the tank..... And a red-rider BB gun or maybe a nice football.

The hose will come off pretty easy if you grab it with some pliers where it is stuck and twist it a little. My friend and his digital camera didn't come through again so I was glad to see your pic's.

I was actually looking for something like this as well...I really like the look of a high mount tank. I thought about eventually switching the tank but with all the electrical in it I'm guessing it would be a PITA. I just call JP Cycles and they said that it was in stock so I ordered one. Hopefully it will if the 06...the website said it would. I know I could have saved $50 and just done it myself but I've got enough going on with the other projects I'm trying to get wrapped up.

Also, check www.chopperstyle.net. I'm almost positive this is the company that supplies the lift. The show it on a bunch of different bikes. It looks badass on the Dyna's and the Nighttrain especially.
