Is it actually misfiring or 'surging'?&nbsp\\; My surges in first gear.&nbsp\\; It has been debated on here in the past.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

Some say it can be tuned out.&nbsp\\; I had mine dynoed and still does it.&nbsp\\; My personal opinion is that it is probably caused by the high torque of first gear.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

DB, go to nightrider.com and order a set of XiEDs. They will almost eliminate the problem and you will appreciate all they do for your ride. Cooler temps, smoother running, better response. Best $100 youll spend on the bike.
