Hi,Expy.Hope you don't think I was doubting or being critical of your post that was not my intention.If the mount needs replacing,on an 07 bike,for whatever reason,that's crap.My bikes vibration is so&nbsp\\;bad I was going to sell it.Thanks to&nbsp\\;your efforts,if this works for my bike,I won't have to sell it.

Im also trying to figure out&nbsp\\;the engine dropped an 1/8th of an inch. I would say the front of my engine was raised&nbsp\\;if anything.&nbsp\\;

Heck no Tnbrit, Im still trying to think this one through as we go. I dont think&nbsp\\;this is a cure all for everyone but it was for me. There is the rear isolator that could also be a factor but of course its much more difficult to deal with.

How about this. If your front engine mount is already grounding out on the isolator,&nbsp\\;jack up the front of the engine slightly, regaining a small gap then shim it with a custom cut rubber piece. It would still be grounding out but who knows it may lessen vibes. The density of the rubber shim would be a big factor. If I would have thought of this before I fixed mine Id try it. Disclaimer - this could be the worst idea ever posted on this forum so try it at your own risk.

The rubber would stop the metal to metal contact.... Might have to give this a try. Now where to find some dense rubber.

It should but its not listed on HDs website so double check. Also see if you can return it if it doesnt physically look different than your old one. Just remember there could be any number of things contributing to excessive vibration. I would hate it&nbsp\\;if people started dropping $100.00 on a new isolator if they didnt really need one.

What are the torque settings for the mounting bolts? I picked up the new isolator (mine was so squished in the top that it imprinted the numbers from the mount.) Thanks, Jeff.

21 - 27ft-lbs. Bike must be perfectly level and engine properly supported. I would also follow alignment procedures. Take photos of the new and old if you could.
