I bet your new mount looks like your old one before very long. There is just a limit on what you can do with rubber as a structural material.

I will have to disagree dynaglider. The rubber in the new isolator is glued farther down on the metal frame than the old one. If you have proof please post it, could save people some money.

I'm just telling you. Rubber. Glue. 1/4 inch difference. Will not stand up long to big motor that wants to move.

And I am saying they are physically constructed different. Look at the last picture I posted. I still believe my first isolator was a manufacturing blunder that was corrected in later runs. I understand wear and tear but it is not a factor here.

Expy - so, if you look straight into the isolator when mounted, you're saying you should be able to see a noticable space between the rubber and the engine mount from the front to the back (toward engine)? Mine are touching.
