RE: Mid Controls with Forward Pegs
I would sometimes get a cramp in my hip when lifting feet back onto the mid pegs from a stop...and for longer trips wanted to stretch out and have an alternate position. I added the Harley engine guard, put the multi adjustable Kuryakyn mounts with the dually pegs, MUCH more comfortable when you need to stretch. Also, as an added bonus, added the foglights to the engine guard for a little better vision at night, they light up the sides of the road better.

I don't understand the posts saying better control. I had mids and changed them to forwards and love um. The "control" issues are non existant,(not changing any physics to the bike) \\;the bike handles the same!!!! You just need to ride someone elses bike that has forwards, Dave...

People who have mids will ride a bike with forewards because they are not used to the forewards and it \\;feels familiar to ride with mids they claim to have more control with mids. I have forewards and can safely \\;ride the bike to its limits in the twisties.
As far as safety can someone explain how it is safer to ride down the highway with your right foot on a peg with no brake pedel. \\;
