When I bought my bike i thought i really wanted foreward controls, then I rode it with the mids and liked them as they are comfortable for around town and such. I eventually bought a set of highway pegs for streching and comfort once at speed. I love the setup and will continue with that setup if I get another bike

Yep. Mid controls and forward pegs for me.&nbsp\\; See sig.&nbsp\\; Last two bikes were set up the same way.
5'8"&nbsp\\; 28" inseam. 08 Bob here, too.&nbsp\\;

 

I prefer mids, also. I plan to get adjsutable highway pegs eventually, but really don't need them. I can rest my ankles on teh mid pegs, and my feet never even get close to the ground, unless taking a fast curve.

Yep, stetch out or back is so much more comfortable. I put heel rests on, all the better.

Forward controls the only way to go!&nbsp\\; More comfortable, cooler looking and none of the back n forth to da pegz.

Ditto, same size as you guys and LOVE mid controls with the highway pegs. Much less cramping on long rides, but a good seat can help there too!

 

Mids and forwards for me too.&nbsp\\; Seems to offer the best options on control and comfort.

 

Bought both highway pegs and seat off a lowrider for my FXDC, perfect reach for my 29 inch legs.
