I just checked and speedohealer will work on H-D's so the speedo can be recalibrated to make up for the different gearing. This should be the best mod for the money

 

Old thread yes, but if anyone actually uses the search function I want to update that I put a Speedohealer on a new H-D Trike and both the Cruise Control and 6th Gear light no longer worked. I worked with Speedohealer for an afternoon but in the end we sent it back. Good guys to deal with, IDK if the electronic throttle affected it?

I would still be intersted in knowing if anyone has used Speedohealer on a 6- speed throttle cable bike w/ good results??

 

I put the speedo healer on about a month ago - I calibrated it with a GPS. I think the speedo was off about 5 mph (which is what I read it would be). It seems to be working but I did loose the 6th gear light.

 

I have been running evo's 30T engine sprocket for some time now & yes u need the chain which is why it comes with it. Wasn't much available when I did mine & I didn't have the patience to wait for anything else, but it works great & don't have to recalibrate the speedo (not a big deal if ya have to anyhow)! In time Andrews has come out with their 30T secondary trans pulley & there is enough adjustment in the belt to compensate...seems many are going this route & are happy with it aswell, both give you close to the same results & are great mods! Recalibration is needed changing the secondary drive, but like I said it's not a big deal. Which ever u go with you be very happy with! 6th gear is very usable but for a heads up rpm's are wrapped pretty good on the freeway but that's how I like it...power is always there!
