Default Please help quick! AKA Glowing Pipes

Today my AN Big Sucker a/c arrived and I installed it according to the directions. (I am a little mechanically challenged but I try to learn). Everything seemed fine for the install. I just got home from about a 20 mile short ride and when I parked my bike under the porch I noticed my pipes glowing bright red. I have never seen this before. Did I do something wrong on the a/c install to cause this or is this normal and I just never looked? Please help as I'm not sure if I should keep riding it or get a ride to work in the morning until i can get this fixed. I have a 2008 street bob with v&amp\\;h straight shot slip ons and the Xied's.

Sounds like you are running way too lean with your set up. You need to get a better fuel programing sytem such as a SERT or a Power Commander.

I agree. Too lean. Atleast get the Stage 1 download if you don't have it already.

It will definately damage your motor. Go to the nightrider website and check under the spec page. There is a way to test their part using a 1.5v battery. Maybe your part is defective.

&nbsp\\;
Xied's are only doing what they do in closed loop mode, idle and crusin, if you are opening it up, winding it out in the gears, as usual, you need stage 1 remap or something else&nbsp\\;
