put money down on a 105th anniv. lowrider today wont pick it up till next weekend. took it for test ride and i need some power upgrades, my 07 sportster 1200 stage 1 pulled alot harder than the dyna did although the dyna rode better and was'nt as cramped which is the reason i upgraded. only problem i have now is two harley payments to deal with! i'll have to whip out the 'ol credit card for a while till i sell the sportster.

 

Yeah two payments would be rough. But, congratulations! The Lowrider is a great bike. I ride a Wide Glide, but I used to own a Superglide and also rode a friends Lowrider some. All dyna's a great bikes. I'm sure once you get a stage 1 on that 96 Twin Cam it will run just as strong as the Sportster. Post up some pics when you get the bike.

 

A nice clean roadable nice handling bike indeed. Throw in a 107 (big piston small stroke) & pull 7,5K rpms, big fun! Put on some real suspension and you are doing even more. Lighten it up more, throw on good brakes & bars, mid controls & a 6 speed, now you are doing something. Now tell me about a Sportster, child's play in comparison by a long shot. Long distance riding in comfort as well as scarring the $hit out of your female passenger with safety. Problems is them bugs in your teeth from that grin. Have fun! You did good!

Money PAHH! good move guy! I sold my sporty back to the dealer for 10000$,it was only a month old! I screwed my self financially,but don't really regret doing it! ENJOY!!

 

Great bike! fastjoe is right, the Stage 1 will put you back in the fast lane.

 

Congrats on Low. Its a great bike and mine pulls alot more than my Sporty.

 

Congratulations. Not that I'm biased, but you picked the right Dyna. Just my 2 cents but, I wouldn't go beyond a "stage 1" if you have any hopes of that anniversary bike keeping it's longterm value. ( At least I hope these Duracell bikes do anyway). LOL .... Welcome to the Duracell Gang!!
