in answer to Greg,, the idiot lights are: battery, alarm, fuel, motor & 6th gear..

 

I probably should have been clearer. All the lights in question are there and work, including the low fuel indicator. It's just that I have yet to run it that low on fuel.

 

can those with this tach comment on how easy it is to read the tach while riding? i am very interested in this but it seems to me you have to look straight down to read any real info.

I find the the tach easy enough to read, but you do have to look down.
