RE: Memorial Day Thanks!!!
If you truly want to know why there are those willing to pay the ultimate price,
just ask any veteran who has served, and has seen how little real
freedom there isoutside of this country. They will tell you that they
are proud to place themselves in harms way, to guard the Freedom of
the American Dream, because they truly understand andknow how
precious and rare what we have is, and believe it is worth defending.
whether or not you realize how great you have it here, it is all thanks
to those few who now serve and the multitudes in the past who gave
the ultimate sacrifice.
If all that you do today is pause for a few minutes of silence,
or shake someones hand who you know has served, that is the
type of recognition and remembrance most military personnel want.
I saw a sign posted outside the Rifle Range at Camp Lejeune, NC
when I was stationed there and I always thought it summed things
up nicely...."Pardon Our Noise, It's the Sound of Freedom"
