Nice! I like the job you did on the rear fender and plate mount as well...I want to do something similar eventually.

 

i just put some vance and hines straight shot slipons on my 06 Superglide and all i can say is wow! by far, bang for your buck, those are the way to go. great looking as well as just the right sound. cheap price helps too! just my 2 cents. those short shots are great pipes too.

was the swap a routine switch or?

 

The switch was pretty straight-forward. I went with a FXSTS model springer. I wanted to stay with an HD front, but there are some nice aftermarket ones out there. A few simple machining mods have to be done, but I think the end result is worth it.

Wonderful job! Love the front end. . . . The first thing I would do is put on drag or beach bars (I'm not an ape fan) but you've done wondeful work.
