Default Kury forwards install, Loctite & Anti-Seize???

Putting on my Kury forward controls on my Superglide tonight. They say to use Anti-Seize and Loctite. How the hell do you use both on the same bolt? Anti-seize at the base of the bolt and Loctite on the threads?

Can someone clarify this for me. I was thinking of just using the Blue Loctite. I understand the use of Anti-Seize in many other applications but I don't want those 2 little bolts that keep my controls on from vibrating loose.

Use loctite on the bolts the screw into something and will be away from the elements. Use anti-sieze on the ones that will stay exposed. You might try to work it with both in some places but I didn't do that and mine seem to be holding up just fine.

Thanks 2007FXDC. My major concern is the 4 bolts that hold the plates to the frame. Just Locktite on those and I guess Anti-Seize on the ball joints and moving parts?

One of the primary reasons for anti seize is electrolysis
Any time youre bolting aluminum to steel its gonna happen

Yep - that's basically what I did - but, those 4 bolts, you could put loctite on the ends and cover the rest with anti-sieze.

I ignored the anti-seize recommendation when I installed mine and just used Loctite. No issues to date and they have been on a year now.
