I have an 06 Streetbob and was wondering if anyone could help me out? I've got a flat spot in my front rim and would like to put a 21" rim on instead of the 19. Can I do this without any modifacations to the front end. Thanks

 

I like others on the forum had a 21 inch rim laced to the stock hub. There are posts on the subject. I myself didn't notice any real changes in handling on my 07 bob. The rest of the bike is stock and I have seen other owners on here that have done some suspension mods also. There may even be a few companies the can build you the whole wheel hub and all. My wheel was assembled by Black Bike wheels in Ca.

Paying a company to build you a wheel which will work on your Bob will probably run you between $600 to $800, depending on whether you go with chrome spokesor stainless spokes.

The cheapest way is to buy chrome spokes and a chrome rim, then lace them to your hub. I saved myself $200 labor by lacing the wheel myself.

 

yep try it yourself its not as bad as many think

 

i have a stock 19" wheel off my 06 sb with about 500 miles on it, if you are interested. it needs to be trued.
