Default Anyone with IEDs or XiEDs or SERT Still Getting Slight Surging?

Anyone still getting a little bit of surging at slow speeds or decelwith steady/light throttle? I've got a SERT with my O2 bias tables maxed out, which is the same effect as the XiEDs, and I still get a little surging with the SE mufflers, less to no surging with the stock mufflers. The improvement of the SERT is awesome but the slight surge is still there on very light or decel loads.

I love the added sound of the SE mufflers but the slight surge is annoying.

Anyone with the IEDs notice the same thing?

I have the Xied's on my 07 FXD with V&H Straight Shots and a K&N filter and have no surging at all. Bike runs great!

My bike is running great with the xied's,zero surging,it feels like it's perfectly tuned. It's stock except for modified se slipons.

I have the PCIII with the O2 sensors bypassed and the bike still surges at low speeds.

My fix was to not ride at slow speeds anymore.

I kinda thought it might be the nature of the machinery and didn't want to chase my tail getting the bike richer just to clear a slight surge that will never go away.

Anyone else?

When I was stock I got the low speed surging and what I mean by stock is that I didn't have the IED's on. Ever since I put on the first set of IED's and now using the XIED's, I have never had the surging again. I also used to get an occasional 'miss' when just cruising at low speeds and that also corrected with the IED/XIED's. I really only bought them for the richer running and cooler engine results for longevity. Everything else was a bonus.

I have a custom SERT map loaded and I get a little bit of surging when rolling at low speed.....like through my hood in first gear @ 25-30 MPH.

badbs, what speeds and in what gears, or in other words what rpm range, are you getting the surging? You can always take it out of closed loop in the area where you're having trouble.

Just got the Vied s for my 06 street bob, and was very impressed with the quality, very well made. These have an adjustable pot in each wire unlike the others which are just a fixed resister. Sadly, no matter where I set them it trips the check engine light. I guess I need the other set designed for the 06. I was impressed with how much cooler it ran when the light wasn't on though, and it did run better, btu again it would intermittently trip the light. I just took them off and am looking to sell them.

What year models are needing the IED's? I have an 06 WG with no surging issues but living in Arizona I would like to get it running cooler.
