Haha, not really.... I'm with LAPD. I just havent gotten around to putting my plates on. Where I work and live guys riding bikes are not stopped. A lot of the guys at my station ride so they understand what its like to modify a bike. My department is to large and to busy to worry about chicken sh*t stops....ie: non DOT helmet, blacked out lights, no plate, exhaust, and ect.

VERY good job! Looks great! Here's a little tip on the battery box strip...it ain't stainless, it's just stamped aluminum with a plastic plate and tabs held on with double sided tape. Easiest thing to do is pop that sucker off and give a really good coat of gloss black from a rattle can. I'm in the middle od doing my 08 StreetBob right now with more or less the same mods. Hope to have it done this weekend. It's gonna be my shop bike and work horse, so, we're calling it the "Dark Horse Project." Pretty simple and straight forward. Nothin' fancy, just all business and performance. Good luck with your scoot!

Hey cHiLi, your bike looks great. I like your drag bars. Can I ask how wide they are? I've been debatingwhether toput taller apes on my Wide Glide, or go with drag bars. Decisions, Decisions [sm=confused06.gif]

 

As soon as I can get some numbers for you I will i'll let you know, I dropped the bike off to the detailer this morning before the show on Sunday and will pick the bike up tomorrow morning.
