Thanks.

Hmm...that really bugs me. I'm experiencing no problems whatsoever but just the fact that I can have better injectors and a different download is enough to upset me. Especially since that bulletin states that the new injectors will be "installed on ALL production Big Twins beginning on or around February 13, 2006". Which effectively means that all of us with 06 models made before that date will have inferior injectors and calibrations to all of the other 06 bikes.

I wonder if I can talk my dealership into making this happen for me...

Sorry about that edit in your post, hit the wrong key...

If you tell them the "right" problems you are having like popping back" on occasion", surging at speeds , they might accomidate you if you are persistant. They will tell you they test rode the bike and see nothing ,but then you tell them it's not all the time, seems to be related to temp and humidity also.

Get the point here?

That's what the bulletin calls for , hopefully some dealers will not try to take shortcuts here.

The MOCO doesn't know what a recall is, too expensive

Look what they did with the cam bearing issue, that should give you an idea here...

They figure if you don't complain , that's one less unit they have to fix. Unfortunate but true otherwise there would be a recall.

I agree completely with you but trying to get a recall done by the MOCO , you stand about as much chance of getting hit by a flying cow. They recall the small things like breakers going bad /upsizing them and bad tail light bulbs that were no good, but something like this????

They should atleast give ya a pair of new injectors and offer to install for the mechanically challenged so it will give the owners of their bikes to either install themselves or let the shop do it.If I HAD an 06 with 8 degree inj. I would rather change them myself and be on the road within a short time as compared to bringin my ride in the shop and wait upto a week or so...

That would be benificial for everyone!!!
