RE: fuel injector changes on 06s
The gps value for the 25 degree injectors is 4.89 however the maps on the g version of the sert all have gps values at 3.91 for the 25 degree injectors
I have a 1550 stage 2 bike and the 25 injectors with se slip onsand downloaded the map for it and it runs great except for some decel popping

Thanks for the link to service bulletins.I'm going to ask my HD dealer about injector issue. No cold start issues here, but on a 40 deg. recent ride, noticed some popping during deceleration/downshifting.I usually gun it a little just before downshift, while clutch is disengaged,to have a little higher rpm before engageing lower gear. Not sure if this action is good or bad, just an old habit.I do expect a decent and honest response from dealer as I've been doing business with same one since 1976,and always felt they've treated me fairly.Going for a cold ride now, need more reshearch

RE: fuel injector changes on 06s
Allright, I've had a slight surging ever since I got the bike-06 WGlide. I took it too the dealership and tech road it and came back with nothing. I just got off the phone-slight pissisn match with the service manager, because on June 9 I'm scheduled to have the SERT installed and dynoed. I'd like my 8* injectors changed before this work. After the service manager calmed me down, he will try and get the bike in before I change the a/c, and install my thunderheader, and have the work done. He informed me that if I do the work first-Harley will tell me tuff s**t on the bulletin work. It's killin me to ride the bike with stock pipes. I fell better now, I just had to vent!!!

RE: fuel injector changes on 06s
I have had no problems whatsoever in nearly 2000 miles, riding in temps between 38 and 98 degrees. I usually run Sunoco 94 or BP 93 Octane fuel. I also run the Harley fuel conditioner w/Duralt. What got me started with the fuel conditioner was when I had a carburated Sportster 1200 back in the early 90's. It used to surge between 30 and 35 MPH. The Duralt stopped it. never a surge or hiccup again. Bike also seemed to have a little extra power also. It also cut down on nasty exasut fumes.

RE: fuel injector changes on 06s
what is the number on the 25's?? i have 27625-06 and my bike was made in 2-06. Does anyone know the part numbers for the 8's and 25's?? I have had no problems (knock on wood) with mine so far, I have put on a PCIII and knocked out the discs in my mufflers for a better sound. It was poping on de-accel before without the PCIII, but now its running great.

27709-06A are 25's.
If your bike is running fine then there's no need to change. I and many others on this board have 8's and our bikes are perfect.
