Default Sound of Samson Caliber 2 into 1 system

Has anyone heard what the Samson Caliber 2 into 1 system sounds like? I currently am running Rush slip-on mufflers with the 1.5" baffles and am wanting to install a full exhaust system. My bike is an 2006 Low Rider with a stock motor running a SE air cleaner with Thundermax autotune. I am wanting to know what the tone and volume is compared to what I currently have.
Thanks!

Don't have them on my Fatbob but I had them on my 2005 1200C. They sounded awesome and it definately gave the Sporty a power boost. I am currently running Rineharts on the Bob. They sound good but even the wife thinks the Samson was better.

I am presantly running the Samson/Ray Price Ltd. Edition 2:1 System which is the same as the Caliber 2:1. They sound very good, but here is the down fall , or at least some problems I have had with is exhaust system... I had to weld a 1.5" tapered piece of flat stock perpendicularto the back side of the mount which bolts on to the transmission because it viberated so much that it was going to break, the baffle is about 18" long (guess to mation) and is only held in by one screw, leaving the baffle to viberate and make a noise that ran me crazy trying to find it, had to drill and tap to add another screw, and the end cap only came with one screw to hold it in, which left a gap at the top, had to drill, tap and add another screw here. I talked to Samson at the Sturgis Rally and they denied anyone else having these same problems and tried making me out to be an idiot. I only have 47 years riding experence. lol On top of all this... It took them sending me 3 sets of heat shields before I got a set that was ceremic coated and not powder coated. All the powder coated ones discolored after getting hot. After going through all these problems I am still running the system because I like the looks, but I will NEVER buy another Samson Exhaust System! Before I had this Samson/Ray Price 2:1 I was running the Rineheart 2:1, it gave me 3 more hp and 3 more ft. lbs. of torque than what the Samson system does and the quality is 10 times that of the Samson. I'm thinking about buying another Rineheart System and having it ceremic coated. My wife is presantly running my old Rineheart 2:1's on her Screamin' Eagle Dyna.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like Samson has some quality control issues. They do look great on your blacked-out bobber. Does the ceramic coating cut down on the heat as advertised? Looks like I might have to look elsewhere for my next exhaust endeavour.

If your looking for long here is what I did. I thought about the Samson 2-1 along with some others but decided on the Cobra longs instead. I haven't dynoed it and probably won't but it seems a little stronger to me. The sound is great and the install was a breeze.

I have not noticed much difference in the ceremic coating as far as heat change. Guess I never had any issue with them as far as heat when the shields were only powder coated. If you are really wanting a 2:1 set of pipes I do highly recommend the Rineheart 2:1 for quality and performance along with looks. If you are looking for total performance I would recommend the D&D 2:1.
