Default oil leaks ?

Can't really call them oil leaks more like oil seeping from gaskets on 08 s/g. Just wondering if anybody has noticed this. Looks like oil is seeping around base of jugs along top of primary around a couple of bolts and all along bottom of engine. Just askin, taking it to dealer in two weeks. If anybody has input, input away.

How many miles? I had the same thing going on with my 07 w/800 miles on it so........................... back to the dealer, what did they do!!! cleaned it up with brake cleaner (so they say) you never know what goes on behind closed doors at the HD shop, they had it in there for 1.5 hrs anyway it never gave me a problem, now with 7000 miles not a leak drip or seepage anywhere.

good luck

I had a similar problem on my '07 FXDBi where oil was misting out of the top crankcase seal behind the cylindar heads along the centre crankcase seal just in from of where the primary drive bolts to the back of the engine. The Dealerstripped and resealed the crankcaseand replaced all the other gaskets they disturbed in the process and apart from causing the clutch line to leak which they also eventually fixed its fine now.

There was also a guy in with a similar problem on his DWG and my Dealer told me its a fairly common problem from Harley where they don't put enough sealant / instant gasket around the crankcase before they join and seal.
