VERY NICE!!! love the flames the old hot rod style... very cool. your pipe is where i got the idea for mine! i would shoot them black, there is a write up on how to do it... i did mine with Epoxy paint like Ed walked me though... took a night to do them an cost me about 10 bucks! love it!!!

 

Flames never go out of style. I'm not big on 2-1's as far as looks go, but that pipe flows pretty nicely with the lines of your bike.

 

Fellers, thanks for all of the positive input. I think for now I'm just going to ride it and leave it alone at least until next winter. The paint was done by Thunder Mountain Paint, theypaint all of the Thunder Mountain Customs, real high end, cost a pretty penny. I used the factory black for the base so the paint job wasn't too expensive. The pipes are Samson-Ray Price Limited Editions, couldn't be happier with them. I wasn't sure of the look at first but they grew on me. The seat is a C&C Seats out of CA, good quality seat for half the price of the big boys. I wasn't sure about the flames cause I'm not a flashy, look at me sort of guy. I've always liked the look of a classic hot rod and thats what I was going after.
