Black leather and nylon fabric Bates Durashock Duty Boots - cheap, no break-in time needed, light, easy walking and riding, and waterproof (but ya gotta treat them every season with mink oil). Not the warmest for cold weather, but handle most normal conditions real well.

Had a pair of harley boots, they started out feeling pretty good but in only a few months started to hurt my feet. They wern't waterproof either.[hr]

A good pair of walking boots with gortex lining. Its what a use over here in the uk in all weather.Never had wet feet yet and can walk for miles in them.Keep looking at bike boots but allways end up going for walking boots.Got a pair of lackners at the moment. Can't fault them.

I wear an old pair of Double-H boots that I used to work turnarounds in. I mink oiled them about 15 years ago and they still don't leak. Paid about $90 at the time. A pair of cheap tube socks work fine.

Red Wing Motorcycle Boots

Perfect for on the bike. Comfortable off the bike.
I've done a lot of riding and walkingin them.
Had my pair for four years. They're in perfect shape.

Waterproofing regular boots?
I came from a poor family. We rubbed Vaseline on 'em.
Works excellent!

I just bought a pair of Hi-tec Altitude IV waterproof light weight hikers for $80.00. They are very comfortable right out of the box, they aren't black but I'm not hung up on the black boots thing, I just want boots that I can ride all day in and still be able to walk in at work or in the great outdoors in the summer. For the winter I have a pair of those Airforce issue goretex lined boots that are about 12yrs old and ugly as sin but still warm and waterproof, I just wish they would finnaly die so I could justify buying newones.

Flip Flops

I have a pair of HD that are good. I also wear corcoran field boot http://www.armynavysuperstores.com/cor1525.htmalso my former duty boot. Water proof spray works good, old motor oil works good. Any boot with lots of stiching or a zipper will leak water

I just bought a pair of HD boots. They werent too bad comfort wise but I bought a 1/2 sizde to big and they only zip no laces. I had to order the smaller size 10's. Should be here in a few days.
I will let you all know. Hope I am not disappointed
