In case you missed it any of you 35th annv. owners may want to get a copy of CYCLE WORLD Jan 06
Beautiful write up on the new bike and the old 71. bike is on the cover.
Also a interview w/ Wille G. and his thoughts on the bike.
A must have if you own that 35. It's off the stands now but you could always order a bk copy.

There ya go! LOL, good find.
I think the magazin would be great to have with the bike if you went to sell it 10 years from now.

It's a good, well written article that goes way beyond a simple bike review. There's quotes from engineer's and a good Q&A session with Willie G that add lots of flavor.

I'm paraphrasing here but there's a section that that details their market stragety. The MOCO is not chasing the competition. Yes, they are aware of what they are doing but ultimately their only concern is for the customer. Everything they do is driven by this simple philosophy. Willie G. mentioned that the everybody at the Moco is tuned in to what the customer needs/wants are and this is a balancing act between art and function. Heavy emphasis on the art function. One example is vibration. One engineer mentioned that they could easily dial it out but this would dilute the experience of owning a Harley-Davidson. The point was made that the people building them is no different then the people buying them; well said.

The writer, who wrote the original Superglide article for Cycle in 1970, 'get's it'. He captures the intimacy and interaction with the machine that few outside our circle truly understand or get to experience. Only difference; he was able to put it into words.

Yeah I read that. Great article and a great magazine. It makes such a difference to have some decent writers who know what they are talking about in a mag.

Here in Australia there is some real crappy mags, however there's another aussie mag "Two Wheels" which is pretty good. This month there is a review of the Screamin Eagle Harleys.
