RE: Best riding sunglasses?
1+ on the Panoptx I just got the Churado's style they are expensive. About $124.00 before the prescription and transistion lens. I had the major tearing problem. I went for a ride on the highway 70 miles an hour and about 50 degrees no problems. I did go to a optical store and tried several brands but the panoptx just fit right and the Doc that owns the store recommended the Panoptx.

I wear WileyX with foam around the eyes and I have to say they are the best glasses I have ever had for riding. I have tried oakleys and other name brands but they do not work near as well as the WileyX. They are pretty expensive but I need glases with prescriptions in them so I really have no choice.

Interchangable lenses, foam, a removable strap, and clear optics.
Second best are $10 Choppers from the last rally I was at.

I wear a pair of sunglasses that are not your typical sunglasses. They are actually mirror safety glasses with shatterproof polycarbonate lenses. In my opinion, they are perfect for daytime riding and the occasional flying rock. They have full wrap lenses and almost completely eliminate wind and eye grit problems. The lenses come completely out for cleaning and the ear piecesare adjustable. They are made by Univex and are called Bandits. They are sold through Fastenall Industrial supplies (and others I’m sure) for $20. BB

I bought a pair at my HD shop for $99. It came with two sets of lenses that are very easy to remove, clear and tinted. They also came with removable foam, so you can have clear or tinted, foam or no foam. It's great when I can just put the extra set of lenses in my pocket, and not have to worry about it getting dark out. It's nice to be able to take the foam out when we are hangin out somewhere for a while. Not sure what they are called though...
