Default Another stage 1 upgrade question.

I have an 07 dyna wg with V&H slipons. I am planning on installing a high flow a/c and V&H fuel pak to finish it off. I have no plans for any other engine upgrades in the future. My question is the a/c kit. ness big sucker or se? what do you all think? if anyone has the part numbers it would be really helpfull.

I don't have the part numbers handy but either of those a/c's will work fine with the fuelpak, among others. V&H's told me they do all of their development and dyno-tuning to create their codes using the SE a/c. However, they also told me that any high-flow stage 1 air cleaner should be compatible with those codes. I specifically asked about the Ness stage 1and Kuryakyn hyperchargers and they said yes, any of them would be fine.

Personally, I went with the Ness because I found a seller on ebay that I could order it and the fuelpak from at the same time and have them shipped in the same box. Also, the Ness kit includes a K&N filterwhich are, arguably, the best you can buy.

I would go with the Ness set-up, purely for price and the fact that it comes with a K&N filter. Here's a link for an eBay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FITS-...spagenameZWDVW

Also if you will be going with a smaller cover then the football that might show the mount you might want to get the chrome version. I know I cut down my stock AC cover, ala Mudpuddle style, and am glad that I have the chrome mount.
