There is a company that does custom powdercoating paint jobs. They look AMAZING. I saw it in a magazine. I think it was an iron works mag from earlier this year.

 

I just had my tins powdercoated matte black...and all the rest of former chrome pieces gloss black..

 

i powdercoated my inner and outer primary along with the cam and trans. covers and that was about 2 yrs ago and they are still holding up with no scratches and chips..i do my own as well as other bikes and never had anyone bring back a part that has chipped..i've never coated tins but i wouldnt mind trying the flat black powdercoated look..powder is the way to go..
