That's the thing... it helps to know a bit more about the actual scenerio when you walk into these places, that way you can basically see how knowledgeable they are in their "help".

However, that's only 2 of the 5 dealerships that said it couldnt be done due to the fact that it just wasnt printed on the parts catalog. [:@]

So you're saying that the street slammers work with all of the stock street bob cables? Would you happen to have your diamond cable part numbers or lengths? I might as well upgrade these while I'm at it. Thanks!

 

I had the same issue with my dealer.

This is what I cam up with for my SB but see the note below:

Street Slammer Bar - #56391-04
Clutch Cable Black - Stock 06 FXDI #38765-06
Throttle/Idle Cables - Stock 06 FXDBI (a little long but no big deal)
Brake Lines - Diamond Back #46654-06
Clutch Cable Guide Kit - NOT NEEDED


Note: Street Slammer Bars will also fit with existing cables on FXDIs the HD book says NA due to the gauge mounting - mount the gauges some other way, and your FXDI cables will be fine.

The regular Super Glide & Street Bob are essentially the same bike as the FXDC & I believe my stealership went with the numbers off the 06 Street Bob? I'm at work right now & don't have the receipt on me to give you the part #'s off of. When I get home later I'll get the #'s off my receipt for you & post 'em.
