I love my wide glide and wouldn't trade it for another Dyna, but because of the rake it doesn't corner quite as well as other dynas.

I would be willing to bet that the best riding (sport-wise) dyna ever made is the FXR, but you'd have to go back a few years to find one.
I have a buddy that has one that he wins the Daytona horsepower shootout with (over 171 hp).

I have to go with the Wide Glide... but comfort may also depend on the best fitting bike. I get pretty stretched out on my Wide Glide.

the problem with all of them is they grind out too easy and you got to watch the primary,, but apart from that the Street Bob is very very good i really wouldnt look at a WG and the fat bob 16" set up all sorts of issues for me,, none good

The FXDX Superglide Sport is one of the best handling bikes Harley has ever made. The come stock with dual disc front brakes, cartridge forks with threaded preload adjustment and both the forks and rear shocks have adjustments for both compression and rebound damping. If he is a good rider who knows how to set sag and suspension adjustments the FXDX will out handle any other Dyna made. If he just gets on a bike and rides it then it probably will not make much difference which one he chooses.

Alot depends on the rider, but with equal riders I'd be willing to bet the Wide Glide. Can't lose with any of the Dyna's though

I'd avoid mini-apes for the twisties. I do it, but if the dyna was my only bike, I would pick a different style bar...but mid controls...
