best handling dyna

I've got a Buell and a T-Sport. You'll love your Superglide even more with a set of stabilizers fitted! I've got TrueTrack and it tightens up handling a treat.

fxdx= splendo-rific!
just thought i'd toss in my two cents. i've got an 01 fxdx and i've got no problems sticking right with most of the ricer guys in the twisties. handles quite well, it's got lots of ground clearance and you can lean it way over, the dual discs up front help out a lot too. i'm not saying i'll toast any of them in a race, but i've gotten lots of props from ricers when they check the rear view in a tight one and see a big black harley sticking to thier rear tire!!! if you want some crazy twists with some nice changes in elevation, try some ct back roads, just watch out for the farm equipment!

I know what you mean!
If I'm honest though, the Wide Glide ain't my first Dyna and I gotta say: the handling definitely benefited from aftermarket solutions. The Super Brace making the biggest difference so far...

Handling
Vlad75,
Love your bike, man! You make some good points, and I've enjoyed reading everyone's input, really glad to see that I'm not the only one who wants a Harley that carves. Not much point in re-hashing the obvious, but I'm with those who point out that to handle well, a Dyna needs some ground clearance, mid controls, a 19 inch front wheel (as opposed to a 16 or 21 inch), sticky-ish rubber, a fork brace, good shocks, lowish bars, good brakes and a brave rider. I would love to see Harley bring the Super Glide Sport back, except this time with slightly rear mounted pegs & mid controls and a high clearance exhaust, something of an XR750 inspired Dyna, a "Super-Duper" twin, if you will.
Oh, yeah, and I want it to make about 100 hp w/the TC96.
Ride with Fury,

Sorry if this is a repeat - didn't have the time to read all the posts...But, according to HD history, the Superglide was born as a "Big Twin that would handle as well as a Sportser." I love my Bob, and I doubt there's too many out there that handle as well - V-Rod lowers, Race-Tech valves/springs; Progressive 418s...I will admit that my girlfriend's 1200C is a lot better in the twisties. And a lot easier and more fun to throw around.
