Oil Temp Guage

Oil Temp Guage
Guys I need some advice,
I recently returned (to MOCO) the second LCD Oil Dipstick Guage. Both guages developed condensation in the LCD screen. They sent me a letter for store credit. I'm thinking about getting the analog oil temp guage.
My question is: "Is it even worth it?"
I currently have the analog oil preasure guage.
Thanks,

I'm with "bobcowan". It's not like you can do a whole lot about it anyway if you're stuck in traffic. Forget the temp gauge, oil these days are made to withstand extreme temps and perform well. If you're still worried about it, change oil more often.
I've ridden mine for two years in the desert heat in Bahrain (115-120F) and never once had a concern or issue. My engine still looks good on the inside. I boroscoped it while I had the oil plug out one day.

Not that big of an issue. I've never once wished I had an ail temp gauge. If conditions are hot enough for me to worry about that, I check it with a long cooking thermometer. Ifyou really want to monitor it, stick with the analog gauge.
