RE: READ THIS...
I'm a 1 or 2 beer guy WHEN I go out. Never ever more than that. Sorry to hear about your friends. Yea you can tell people but in the end the decision is theirs. We all did dumb sh** in our 20's and fortunately most of us can laugh and talk about it today. I turn 56 today but I can still remember that feeling of indestructablilty I had in my 20s.

RE: READ THIS...
I must say reading these types of threads makes an impact on me. I'm starting to wear my helmet more and more (but not all the time) and my awareness is heightened because I think of all the bad chit I read on here. It makes a difference at least in my mind.
I also do occasionallyhave a couplebeers when I ride. Usually I'll have 1 or 2......then ride for an hour, stop to take a leak and have1 more, grab a burger,etc......I usually make a day of it and ride through multiple states.........(including confusion ). Do I get drunk? No. Am I within the legal limit? Probably. Is it irresponsible? To some zero tolerance attitudes, yup.Am I within my limit? Yup.Do I always respect the machine? ABSOLUTELY! But all it takes is that one flippin deer that jumps out in front of me.
I say know your limit. It comes with adulthood. Jason obviously didn't. Let's hope he learned a valuable lesson.
Thanks for sharing!

Jason died this past weekend when his liver finally gave out. He was 27 years old with a 5 year old daughter. He's been holding on by a thread since this accident happened & just couldn't anymore I guess? Jessica has made a pretty much full recovery now and in my opinion definately cheated death. I don't think she'll ever get on the back of a motorcycle with someone that's been drinking...if even at all for that matter?
I must say reading these types of threads makes an impact on me.
