Dam dude.... You look like your big enough to eat a street bob!
Nope, would'nt trade my WG for a street bob, or any other Dyna for that mater.

My father in law hasa Street bob with forward controls, and I gotta say, it is a comfortable, nice ride!! Me, I prefer the asthetics of my Wide glide more, not a huge fan of the blacked out look, but I dont think it is a craze... pretty sure the moco struck gold with an inexpensive, bad a$$ bike in the Street bob!

Yeah I eat street bobs for breakfast! I'm with ya on that! I don't care for the look of the Bob and I'm more old school I guess and like the chopper style and ride and chorme look!

the flared rear fender on the wide glidei don't like, and i think the bob is more old school design then the wide glide.

The WG is so popular that they only made it in 105th colors for 2008 and have discontinued the bike entirely thereafter. There's at least 3 2008 WG's and 5 2007's at the local dealerships. The bike is virtually unsellable.

i agree, the Street Bob is ironically more "old school" than the wg. The moco sure struck gold though with the SB, its been the #1 selling Harley across europe since its introduction in 06..

One of the reasons the 2008 WG is almost "un-sellable" is the ridiculous price. Here in Nova Scotia I can get a Softtail Standard or Custom a grand cheaper. I like the wide glides better than the bobs in general, but there are many awesome bobs on this form that I would be proud to own. As far as old skool, the looks of the bobs goes way farthur back than the WGs IMO. The WG is a throw back to a late 60s to 70s look while the bob goes way back to a 50s post war with only a little tweaking. Just my thoughts.
