They both look good but I think on you ride I would lean toward the black Would love to get a second bike and do all black I like both looks black and chrome

I would go with the black: seems to work better with the direction you've gone with the bike.

Hogrida makes a great point. That is why I chose the chrome. It just looks right against the shiny rockers. If they were black, then the black cover would look awesome.

I dig the chrome one. I think you have enough black around, and under it, and the chrome cover helps with some contrast.

Both look good. Here's an option you didn't try and I think would look good: Black AC Cover with the Chrome timing cover. Black AC cover looks good against the chrome rockers and the chrome timing cover looks good against the blacked out engine. It's a contrast thing to me. Maybe for you too. TK
