Looking for a good recipe for a 95 kit
I have an 05 FXD and am looking for a good cam/head/carb recipe to put into it. I don't want blah blah blah, I want to hear dyno combos with what you have. I have a Road King, this is my "fun" bike so tell me what works. Lets not talk nitrous etc., just bang for the buck! Thanks fellas!

I've got close to 2000 miles on the build in my sig, and it was worth every penny. I havn't dyno'd it but it pulls like you wouldn't believe and the tire spins out on me in second gear. I'll probably do the heads sometime in the future, but for now they are stock. I also have an SE ignition module and adjustable pushrods.
Best bang for the buck was the Ultima six speed trans gear set from Jireh Cycles for $500 shipped - add on the speed calibrator, SE clutch spring, and labor and it's still under $1k. The Mikuni was $250 from Jireh. Got the 203's off ebay for $150 and if you look around you can sometimes get complete big bore kits for under $600.

How much HP are you looking for? Mild 100 HP or wild 130 HP that will not last long. I have built some of both. For exhaust for mild or wild I use Thunderheader. The best for the most power under the curve. I also love the sound.Wild you need, 44mm CV carburetor, wild grind for Twin Cam from CycleRama, Screamin Eagle programable Ignition system,Screamin Eagle raceing clutch. Custom ported heads from revolution performance and 10.5 to 1 pistons. New high torque starter for 10.5 piston, and also screamin eagle pressure reliefs in heads. Once built to get the power you must have it dyno tune from some one who knows what he is doing, or just by Jim's racing motor
Power 130 horsepower @ 6600 RPM MAX torque 120 ft. lbs. of torque @ 4300 RPM
