RE: Sissy bar, luggage rack Suggestions Anyone?
I've been looking at the HD detachable stuff (I want to be able to take it off, if I'm just cruising alone), along with there low sissy bar. Anyone have any suggestions?

What Blade said. I went will all HD equipment. With everything off you can't tell anything is different.
XKROME, I just registered with Patriot Guard Riders. Interest in your flag holder. Have you posted anything on how you made it?

Anytime I see someone ask about a detachable setup, I feel it's a good idea to mention this thread:
https://www.hdforums.com/m_1320167/tm.htm
A lot of people around here are using permanent sideplates and notching out the bolt holes so they become detachable. You don't have to mess with rear turn signals, detachable docking hardware kits, and the infamous detachable rattle.
Just a thought. I went this route and I'm glad I did. I like the cleaner look of the sideplates inside the fender support covers (the detachables mount on the outside of the fender supports). Just a personal preferance for me.
The biggest bonus for me: I didn't have to remove the turn signal bolts to install the plates. Anyone who's done this knows it can be a pain.
The bolt feeds from inside the fender and is pretty long. The bolt head hits the rear tire before it clears the fender support. Oops. Most people drop the shocks to allow the fender to rise up, thus allowing the the bolt to clear the rear tire.
Notching the sideplate bolt holes means all you have to do is loosen the fender support bolts to install/remove the sideplates. Quick and easy.
Cheers,
J

When I put the above number in to Zanotti's website I get the following
53968-06, No part found
53968-06A I get a part result, Turn signal relocation kit
53968-06B I get a part result, Turn signal relocation kit

I reckon if they set out to confuse people they have succeeded
