Am trying to get opinions on the Crimson Red Denim for the Street Bob. My dealer has every color but that one but said he could get one. All I have seen is the picture in the catalog but don't want to rely on that. Based on the poll of Street Bobs that I looked at yesterday it seems that the majority has vivid black or black denim. Thanks for the input.

 

I've only ever seen photos, but it would be one of my top color choices from photographic evidence!

We have at least one forum member with the Red Crimson Denim Fat Bob, so hopefully you'll have some "real world experience" to read!

 

i have the crimson red denimSB... and love that color!!! i was looking to get a denim black but after looking at it versus the black it was not question for me. but i do drive a 94 red chevy P/U, have had a red eclipse andred camaro... so i may be a little bias here but i really like the red.It gives off an old school feel andmake me thinkof an old tractor that has been sitting around and hasfaded... may notsound like a good description, but i really like vintagestuff!also the denim is going to "Wear" or break in...probalbly going to fade in places and look real vintage... also the denim is easy to clean... no wax, no soap and water, just windex!my buddy has a 08 dynawith a gloss paint and i can clean my bike twice as fast!!!

 

my local dealer had a crimson... but they charge freight, setup fees, and document fees... so i had a dealer that didnt charge all that junk... pull a crimson from another dealer that had one in stock! which ever color you choose you will love it... esp. if it is denim!!!

 

i realy like the red but now that ive seent the new denium dark blue i woudl chose that one over the red mabye even over the black denium i have now
but you cant go wrong with black

I was trying to decide the same thing (except on a Fat Bob) a month ago. I saw the red denim on some baggers and didn't like it. But then I saw a red denim street bob and my mind was made up, I loved it.

 

I have the so called crimson red!

 

Yeah, on the red denim baggers there's just too much denim. I didn't like it either.

But the paint looks real nice on bikes without fairings IMHO.
