Default TallBoy Seat

I want the Tallboy Seat, I want the Tallboy seat.... Having said that they do not make it for the year of my bike. 2000 superglide sport.
I have been looking for a seat to push me back a couple inches and I finally found this seat so you can see my disapointment.

Does anyone know if any other manufacturer might make a seat like this one? with my long legs and forward controls I still feel a bit cramped.
Is it possible maybe to get an adapter for the tallboy to fit on my bike?

I appreciate you input and advise

Thank You,

Harpoon

JAT - what about looking into extended reach controls, you may be able to get a couple of inches from them!!!

When I was shopping for my bike, the dealer suggested I take a stock seat to an upholsterer. He reckoned it would be half the price, but I just went with the tallboy seat.

Might be worth ringing any upholsterers in your area and taking in some pictures of a tallboy seat (or take in a tallboy seat if someone will lend one to you for a few hours). You could even just email them a link from the HD site to show what you want.

They should be able to achieve pretty much the same thing, and you might even be able to get a better look as I think the Tallboys do look a bit ordinary.

Good luck.

Thanks Guys,
As for the extended forward controls.. I have thought of them but not really sure I like the look, it makes them look a little too out of place.. But definately an option

And for the apolsterer, I am afraid that that would cost quite a bit of $$

But do appreciate your input.. I guess I want to know how much different in the 06 superglide to the prev years for this seat not to fit or for them not to make a version that would fit.. It really knocks out a lot of potential sales..

Thanks
Harpoon
