Default Tall guy on a low rider

I was wondering if any taller guys ride a low rider.I am 6"4" with a 36" inseam. I know a wide glide or super glide would probably fit me better but if a good price on a low rider could be found would it be confortable for a taller rider? What could be done to make it fit better besides foward controls? Would a taller seat help? Thanks for any information?

I am 5 11 and felt compact until I put on forward controls....you would be fine if you put extended forwards on I would think. Low are nice bikes.

Default RE: Tall guy on a low rider

I'm looking at a used07 Low Rider this week that is very reasonably priced. The Low Rider is a real nice bike with the factory gauges(tach and spedo) on the tank and the blacked out engine.

I'm 6' 3" and would be swaping the stock seat and installing a set of Kury forwards. I might even go with a set of Progressive rear shocks that would raise the bike to the height of a Super Glide but notcertain about that.

The one thing that I'm not sure about is the bars. The stock bars on the Wide glide and Street Bob are nice but I'mwondering about the stock Low Rider riser. The mini apes would probably work and look better with some aftermarket 2" or 3" risers. There is likely someone out there who has done this on a Low Rider. Any suggestions?

You can get a 3 inch extension to go with forward controls and you should be good to go. I don't see how a wide glide or super glide would be any better.
