Default Honda vs Hemi

So I'm heading out to a party tonight, cruising along down a road called (oddly enough) Racetrack Road in my Magnum R/T. I notice this guy in a customized Honda (not sure what model) and I pass him and then he passes me just due to regular traffic. We both eventually come to a stop light and I look over and he's looking at me and he starts saying something. So I turn down the tunes and roll down my window and he say's, "Bet I can take you!" I'm like, "No fair, I'm not on my bike!", then the light turned green. We both floored it and while he beat me off the line, about a quarter of a mile down the road I left him in my rear view mirror. My Hemi can do 160, (at least that's what the speedometer says), so no way he was going to get me in anything longer than a quarter mile. I really wish I was on my Fat Bob. I would've smoked him. I know this has nothing to do with Harley's or Dyna's but I just had to share. When I get done working on my bike I definitely need to find someone to build out my car. Only thing is the damn thing is a lot bigger than say the Charger. Sort of like my Fat Bob engine in the touring bikes. Just more weight to have to pull. Oh well, I still love my Hemi. It makes me smile just as much as my bike does, especially when I put my foot in it.

I agree there is not much difference between the Magnum and the Charger in size. I have a Charger Daytona and it's a great car. They won't do 160 from want I here the computer will let it max out at a little over 140.

When it comes to cagers, don't, fora second believe the speedometer is any indication of
what vehicle is capable of. I've had quite a few w/ 140+ mph speedo's that wouldn't
pull a greasy string out of a cat's ***, never mind go 140 mph........

We have a lot of these little punk kids in their suped up 4 bangers here too. They all think they can fly!!! Someday, they will learn. Those of us old enough to have grown up with muscle cars know all about V-8's. Glad you destroyed him!!!!! I would have like to have seen that. I'll line my Hemi Ram up against them anytime.

Magnum R/T Hemi. Now you're just bragging. I had a 72 Vega GT that registered 140. Down hill it would do 90. Yes, I bought it new, rusted through in 74.

I see those Magnum and Charger Hemis driving around town and I think to myself, "That's a damn nice car!". So far I haven't seen a color I don't like.

Congrats on having good taste in your 4 wheel choice!
