You removed the passenger pegs? I was going to do that, on the right side two screws no problem but when I looked at the left side, it look like the belt guard was tight to the peg, how did you get around this? Or did you just remove the pegs and leave the peg mounts?

I had to get an L shaped bracket to put in place of the foot peg mount in order to keep the belt guard on. It was either that or have the bracket welded off but their $80 a pair and didn't feel like doing that.

man you have to get rid of the plastic crap covering your back tire... will make it look 10 times bigger... get a side mount plate or make one! but that will really clean up the back and it is cheap! I like it without the badges... if oyu are going to remove the upper you may as well remove the lower belt guard as well... sharp bike brother

ORIGINAL: the metal

sharp!

that tank looks killer.

where'd ya get those rear axle covers?
HD released them about 3 weeks ago
HD has the horn cover on their website under color shop FXDF
The timing cover is from here http://azece.com will probably get a custom derby cover from them, great quality
I was just PM'ing storm about ditching the rear brake light (Nightster style) and mounting the plate different, I agree
The bob looks so much better w/o the upper belt guard, I didn't have the peg mount problem cause I didn't want the guard

thanks for the compliments.

An L shaped bracket sounds simple enough. I'll have to add that to my list of things that have to be done. I see no need for a set of passenger pegs when flying solo. Thanks for the tip.
