Ihave an unheated garage so when I got them for christmas I had the dealer mount them but the instruction sheets were fairly simple.

it's no fun. i would of gone another angle if i thought it out first. i would of drilled my fender and mounted, it looks better, it's cheaper and will hold up. so much for hindsite.

dont cut the wires!!!! use a safety pin and pop out the individual wires. Makes things so much easier..just takes a bit to get the right spot for the wire to release from the connector. After it is ready to go back together, just plug them back in. Any newer manul shold have this technique.

Get some shrink wrap from Home Depot for the wires behind the license tag.

Took me 35-40 minutes to do mine. And yes to the shrink wrap. Where the wires come out of the relo bar they will be exposed for a short distance before they run back through the fender.

+1 on not cutting them either. Pop the pins from the connector to re-route.

Timely post Greg, my dealer had them in stock so I will be doing the same project. Maybe
order my easy brackets next week.
