you guys are great - thanks for the schema!
Looks like im about a 1/4" off level from one side to other at the rear axle point - i still see no signs of twist on the swingarm itself, but im going to try removing the pivot shaft now and see whats up

ok its off andcompletely obvious now - the primary side pivot bearing 'cup' for lack of a better word has been oblonged - must have happened when the impact bottomed the brake brake side shock out - in fact you can see where the caliper dug into the bottom lip of the fender
So the bushing has just been slopping around on that side, causing the swingarm to 'sit' to the brake side, causingthe wear on the tire, etc
so looks like i need a new swingarm for sure - sputhe has those aluminim pieces - they say call for pricing, wonder how much they are - 3 times what a stock unit is? Im on to ebay I guess now
thanks again for all the feedback guys!

If you set the swing arm on the ground, does it wobble like a warped set of eye glasses?

im pretty sure the swingarm is bad - the whole bushing assembly on the primary side 'slops around in the swingarm cup - and i can see where the lip of the cup is mashed- still worth mic'ing it i agree its on the bench now - just have to remember what i did with my calipers - if my thinking is right, the bushing tolerance within the cup should be almost a press fit, right?
the swingarm 'forks'dont seem to be bent - it seems like its all at the pivot fulcrum er whatever

no, the way im lookin at it - the race gets pressed into the 'cup' whch is what im calling the round part of the swingarm itself - thats the only way i can desribe anyway - and the race and whole bushing assembly slops around in the hole - like where the cups been oblonged - and you can see the lip of the cup sort of mushroomed outward - and the brake side race was sort of sideways in that cup
does that make any sense?
does that make any sense?
