I lowered mine with 1.75" blocks in the rear and slid the forks up the trees 1.5".
It cost a total of $40.

Since you ask....

I installed 11" progressive Sunday. Looks good in my opinion and rides well. Scraped the pegs and exhaust a few times but it's an okay trade off to have the bike set up the way I like it. I like being flat footed while at a stop sign or parking space backing up. I am a short s@%t. I intended on dropping the front but don't see the need. Bike handles as good as it did before. My 2 Cents.

P.S. I think any lower would bring on a lot more problems

Default Progressive 440s 11.5

I am gonna go with the Progressive 440 11.5 inch on my 06 Street Bob. I think any shorter than that the lean angle is decreased too much for me. Scraping pipes really sux,and I have knocked my right foot off by folding up the right side peg on my braking foot,which sux cuz I was braking with it at the time. I may stick with 440 12 inchers. Depends on what I get them for $$$

do you ride 2up ? and if so do you have any bottoming out issues?

Never have, never do & probably... never will.
