I have one of each. Dyna is a 94, Sporty is an 03. Both are nice, but the Dyna is better for 2 up, cruising and more comfortable "fit" for me. I'm still keeping the sporty though. First love ya know...

out of all the Dynas which is a best fit for the city then? Im guessing low rider because the pipes are lowered so less aggravating for cars in traffic and because it is the easiest to put your feet on the ground.

I personally liked my Sporster an extreme amount and, if you're looking at one, I'd recommend an 883 with the 883 heads, bored out to 1200, and a hotter cam. This will give a helluva fast revving, powerful, little bike. I've done, years ago, lots of 2-up miles on a Sporty so it can be done. With that said, when I bought a bike again last summer I went with a Dyna for size and comfort. Being 6' tall, the Dyna is a more comfortable bike on the wide open roads, though I don't have a problem city driving it either.

Oh yeah, sorry, mine is a lowrider. I'm 6'1" and fit just fine. Feets on the road when they need to be.

I've kicked around between the sporty, Superglide and FLTUC and come back to my Dyna everytime.

I have a Wideglide now but my first bike (which my girlfriend bought back) was a 1200 sporty. I loved the sporty but once i put sportster drag bars on the wide glide wow what a difference it's just as much fun to ride as the sportster and the ride hight is lower so it's more comfortable in the traffic i think.

Take a look at the Buell. As far as gas mileage, handling, and gearing are concerned, it has them both beat.

Don't know about the 1200's. I rode my son's 883 and granted, its bottom line, it was fun. I'm a little dude,5'9" and about 175. I have an 04 dyna and I can do everything with it you can with the sporty. Not bragging, just the comfort zone. I have no problems in the city. Great acceleration, handles great. I know, I'm biased, but its the dyna hands down.[sm=smokin.gif]

I've never ridden a Dyna, ride a Nightster. Mine has the features you want, but not for two-up. I agree withthe post that you really need to go ride them and decide for yourself what feels right for YOU! But if two up is essential, I personally would move up to a Dyna.
