RE: Finished my girls bike!
ha ha ha I DID NOT EVEN SEE SHE GOT ON HERE!!! what a sneak!
"HAHAHA This is Joe's girldfriend. Joe sent me this to let me know my bike had great feedback. 2 things - For the record - I am only 5'1" so switching out the shocks was a great idea for me, it made me more confident (since I cannot ride in my spikey heels) And I am so proud of all the work he has done to make my bike more comfortable for me. At the end of the day I am just glad that the two of us share the same passion. I am ready to move up to a bigger bike - or maybe just heavier. The wind blows me all over the road!"

Sweet Joe,
My ole lady started on a Honda 250 Rebel, she put on a little over 11,000 miles as she was learning to ride. Then she wanted to move up to a Sporty, and yep, ya got it right, that only lasted a couple of years. Now she's on a Low Rider, at 5'0" its all good......
Enjoy the road together..........we do.....
Respects,
Ed

RE: Finished my girls bike! *UPDATED*
ok so now i am DONE! spent 10 hours last night finishing this bike up... i pulled the crap headlight that comes on it, and tossed on a HD low rider lamp that Dynaflyer hookd my girl up with... Not sure if you guys know Yamaha, but EVERYTHING runs into the headlight... i had to get rid of about 1000 clips and snaps, soldered 10000 wires... but got it done right and it looks sick, i taped off and drilled out the inlet hole in the back of the headlight as well as added another hole in the back to allow the wires to come in from the top (indicator lights, hand controls, etc) then the rest came in from the bottom, i ran rubber gromits around the holes to clean it all up. while i had it all torn apart i made a mounting bracket and installed a set of fog lights that i got at wally world for 20 bucks... these used to be on my bob then i upgraded to the chrome (powder coated black now) fog lights i have on mine... i wired this in to the main line on the lamp and added a switch so she can turn it on and off if she wants... both of these REALLY light the road up and dramaticly change the front end of the bike. IT IS DONE... till she wants something else... if you look at the pic of the side pro i think it kind of looks like a mini low rider...
