Default 2" or 3" tank lift

Thinking of installing a tank lift on my 07 wide glide. I would like to hear opinions and/or experiences with 2" or 3" lift kits.

2" tank lift is the way I went. Liked it because I didn't have to mess with the crossover line. I, personally, would say get yours from Jackyl, one of our resident Dyna heads. Trust me, you will not be disappointed, great product and great look.

2" from Jackly here. Easy install without dealing with crossover line.

You might want to unbolt the front of the tank and raise it up until it looks good to you on your bike.I thought the 2" lift looked excellent on the Street Bobs, but just didn't look right on my Low Rider. I went a little lower and ended up only raising mine 1.60".

Swap the nut from Gene's kit with the one on back of tank under the seat.
