Does the lift throw off the balance with a ful tank of gas?
It seems it would be a little top heavy.
Please avise.

I didn't notice any difference at all, as far as weight and balance.
The fuel gauge is off a little, but I go by mileage.

Where are you guys getting the upper "acorn" looking nuts for the tank lift?
From the one that hold the bottom of the tank on.

I got the 2" from Jackyl as well

made my own 1 5/8" out of stainless steel of course about 15 minutes to make & 5 minutes to fit... cool little mod

i replace the bolts with 4 stainless button head 3/8" bolts.

I tapped the top spacer/bush on the lift kit and the origonal bottom mount on the frame to 3/8" UNC
Will post a couple of pics when I get time just got outta bed after a 16 hr day at work.....

I got my 2 inch lift from ebay for a lil over 30 bucks. Easy install. Great improvement on the bikes appearance.

I fixed my photos in the post above, shouldn't try doing things like that when I've had too many Wild turkey's
