2000 Dyna
I may be picking up a used 2000 Dyna Friday, it has 30K on her but from what it appears is a good solid bike, I had a 97 new and rode her about 40K with no issues, I have a FXR current, I want a solid back up Harley in case, The owner says the tach does not work, Any ideas? Any known issues with the 2000 std model? He said the cams MAY have been changed runs solid etc but has 30K on her, Could use some advice, I sure would love to have another

RE: 2000 Dyna
I bought my 2000 WG with 27k on her. She now has over 42k (in a little over a year). Runs great, but gonna have to rip her guts out and punch her jugs! 95" ported with cams coming soon... I hope.
I really need to take some newer pictures... I've made some changes since this.

RE: 2000 Dyna
I bought a 2000 Superglide Sport last July with 5000 miles on it. These are great bikes. do a Google search on 2000 Dynas and read the reviews. The cam problem was in the 1999 models and 30K miles is nothing on these engines. With anything used there are risks but most people are straight up when they are selling their Harley. At least in my area that is.
Throw your leg over that bitch and ride it like you stole it.

Have a 2000 FXDL here. Only problems I've had with it was thecluch went up at about 8,000 miles and the starter switch at about 15,000. I have about 32,000 on her now and she's dependable...has been to Sturgis and back to Maryland 3 times (once via Texas) She'srelagated to back up bike now.
