At only 6'0" I'm finding my legs a bit cramped on my 06 dyna wide glide. I think if I had just 2 more inches it would be fine...

In the harley catelogue they list a "Tallboy" seat that <<moves the rider back 1.75" and up 2" as compared to the Original Equipment seat. >> I don't like the idea of gaining 2 inches in height though. Has anyone else solved this problem?

Well I went the other way. I'm 5'9 and wanted to be closer to the ground. You might want to check out Harleyseats.com. They can move you one way or another. They have some nice patterns as well. You have to wait for the them to amke it for you. Takes a few weeks.

I've sen ads for a foot control extension kit. Supposed to move the foot controls out about 2". I've never used it myself.

extented forward control kit or lowering the suspension should give you what you want without going to a higher seat (as if the WG wasn't high enough to start with)

 

Hmmm, I am 6 feet as well, and I think I fit great on my 06 WG. If I need to strech a bit I throw my legs over the pegs.

 

Just looked in a Kuryakyn catalog I had, they have WG H-way pegs. the number is 7886. They look to bolt on under the existing foot peg bracket. Not sure if that has changed for 06 though. Go to there website and have a look.

 

If you're really uncomfortable the cheapest ( probably best solution ) is to extend the forward controls. Both HD and Kury make an extension for the WG.

I put Kury Pilot Pegs with stirrups on my WG and I am 6'2". I am quite comfortable. Although I have thought about extending the forward controls 3" with the extension sets, I haven't decided to go ahead. I did ride a WG with the extended forward controls and it makes a noticeable difference. However, it seems to me for everyday riding the position is just fine with the Kury Pilot Pegs. The forward extension would be nice on long trips for sure.
